An active day with a Rocky Point Mother’s Day Paddle?

A gorgeous hike with family around Buntzen Lake?

A walk through Inlet Park to Rocky Point, followed by brunch?

Most of all, though, let’s hope for a sunny, Happy Mother’s Day!

To provide your input, check out the following:

Date: Thursday, May 10, 2012
Time: Drop in between 6-9pm
Where: City Hall Galleria, 100 Newport Drive, Port Moody, BC

If you are unable to make it, the information can still be viewed online on the City of Port Moody website, after May 10.

As many of you know our by-election is upon us, and we head to the polls on April 19. And there is an extra, highly convenient perk: the Canoe Club’s gym is one of the polling stations! I told you it was never easier. Voting stations are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you are unable to vote on April 19, you can also advance vote up until April 14. Here are the details for advance voting and general voting days: http://bit.ly/IuM5vO.

To add to the ease, I’m also including the links to the candidates’ platforms. One of these people will be representing you in Victoria, so be part of this process!

Dennis Marsden, Liberal: http://www.dennismarsden.ca/

Joe Trasolini, NDP: http://joetrasolini.bcndp.ca/

Christine Clark, Conservatives: http://www.votechristineclarke.ca/

Hope this helps!
