Questions, concerns, comments specific to your building should be directed in writing to your strata council and/or property manager.  The volunteers who support this site and the community email are not on strata council and cannot provide advice on building matters, individual strata building by-laws or rules (which may vary from building to building).  There are currently four property management companies in Klahanie.

A bit of Klahanie history…..

The Klahanie website was launched in September 2008 by a few residents with the goal to encourage connectiveness within our community, and to provide a means of communication amongst residents on what’s going on in Klahanie!

The Klahanie Communique newsletter was launched in November 2008 by a couple of residents who wanted to continue the precedent set by Wendy Harris, who was contracted by Polygon during the building phases of Klahanie between 2006-2008.  Wendy created monthly newsletters (see samples: Sept/Oct 2008) – pre-website days! - to provide information to residents on events/activities she coordinated at the Canoe Club.

As a paid, professional coordinator (with a $ budget) Wendy set a high standard.  For the residents living here during that time, she demonstrated what types of programs and events could be achieved in this community of over 1500 residents.
